It began with a dream:
In 2007, a group of Cloverdale residents had an ambitious plan to bring new economic energy to a depressed downtown by building a performing arts center the whole community could enjoy.
Everyone worked together, gave what they could, and in 2010 the town celebrated the opening of its state-of-the-art, 99-seat theater—the Cloverdale Performing Arts Center (CPAC). Co-founded with the late Jim de Priest, a legacy in Sonoma County theater, what started as a dream became a reality.
Years later, CPAC is still the flagship performing arts center Cloverdale set out to create: a vibrant hub for creative expression whose diverse programming continues to inspire, uplift, and bring our community together.
