In a summer cottage on Chesapeake Bay, Gunner has hatched an unorthodox plan to secure his family’s future but meets with resistance from his wife and son, who have plans of their own. As winter approaches, the three must quickly find common ground and come to an understanding—before the tide goes out. This drama hums with dark humor and powerful emotion.

𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗺 (Jack)
Jonathan has been seen in many Sonoma County productions over the last 30 years (but still hasn't learned his lesson). Favorites include “Stanley” in Run for your Wife, "Charles" in Blithe Spirit, "Schmendiman" in Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Max in Lend Me a Tenor, and "Jonathan" in the Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged). He is always striving to "be taller."
Elizabeth Henry (Peg)
Elizabeth Henry received her BS in Chemistry from UC Irvine, worked as a waitress and a pharmaceutical research tech, and then started studying voice after the birth of her second child. This led to a love affair with opera and then to a fascination with acting. Even after getting a second degree in Graphic Design, she still does not know what she wants to be when she grows up. She has performed all over the Bay Area. She was last seen at CPAC as Queen Elizabeth in The Beard of Avon. Prior CPAC performances include Emma in The God of Hell and Dr. Martha Livingstone in Agnes of God.
Steven David Martin (Gunner)
Steven is excited to be back on this wonderful stage working with some of his favorite creative artists. Currently Artistic Director of the Raven Players in Healdsburg, Steven has enjoyed a long theatrical career, working professionally at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, California Shakespeare Festival, and the Edinburgh International Theatre Festival, among other theatrical haunts. Raven directing credits include The Laramie Project, The Comedy of Errors, If I Don’t Make it, I Love You, Deathtrap, Clybourne Park, School of Rock, and Macbeth. CPAC acting credits include roles in 1984, Lend Me a Tenor, Terra Nova, Moonlight and Magnolias, The Love List, and A Christmas Carol. Steven also directed the CPAC productions of The Glass Menagerie, Marvin’s Room, and Our Town.
Amy Lovato (director)
Amy has been volunteering for the Cloverdale Performing Arts Center since the Grange days, when she directed a youth production of Peter and the Wolf. Since then she’s tried her hand at all the roles within this lovely space: board op, actor, director, costumes, props, crew, stage manager, designer, board member, and guest. Having grown up in Cloverdale, she is beyond proud of this beautiful theatre and the arts it provides the community. The Outgoing Tide is a heart wrenching story about family, love, acceptance and understanding. Amy is grateful to be able to bring it to life with a very talented cast and wonderful crew, who have made her laugh and brought her to tears throughout this journey. It felt like CPAC’s founding Artistic Director, Jim dePriest, was guiding us every step of the way. “Thank you, Jim”…for everything.
