A Parisian Summer Evening with SonoMusette

sono.jpg

Local favorites, SonoMusette bring their unique interpretation of popular French songs to CPAC on August 24 for a lovely summer evening of music. “Sono”, short for Sonoma and “musette,” a form of French dance music made famous by Edith Piaf, Jacques Brel, and other great artists of the era, SonoMusette will transport you to Paris of the 1930’s, 40’s and 50’s. Through their musical storytelling, these gifted artists explore universal themes of love and loss, evoking a certain sweet sadness that is at once nostalgic and hopeful, and wholly “moderne.”
