Project Frankenstein

Just like our "Dracula Project" (link here to see what we did last year), Project Frankenstein is a friendly competition to raise funds, celebrate Halloween, and creatively challenge the community. Anyone and everyone are welcome and encouraged to participate.

Each participant will be emailed a chapter of Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, from which they can create anything they’d like that is inspired by their chapter. It’s like a themed open mic!

Examples include, but are not limited to: recreating a scene, performing a monologue, doing a reading, designing a set, creating a costume, creating a make-up or floral design, creating a piece of art, writing an original work inspired by the chapter, performing an interpretive dance or rap, designing a storefront, etc.

Each piece should be documented by video and submitted to CPAC no later than Sunday, October 17th. Each submission will be shared to the CPAC audiences leading up to Halloween!

All submissions will be shared via social media, and the audience will “vote” on their favorite piece by making a donation to CPAC.

The piece with the highest donation total will win bragging rights and a goody basket from local artisans and business.

Dear Friends and Supporters,

In following with the California state guidelines for indoor venues, and to ensure the safety of all of our patrons, performers, crew and staff, the Cloverdale Performing Arts Center will be requiring masks and proof of a completed COVID-19 vaccination to enter the theatre until further notice.

We at CPAC are doing our part to help slow the spread of COVID-19 by assuring you that the entire cast, crew and front of house staff are vaccinated for all future performances.

Only the performers will be allowed to be unmasked at this time while in performance.

Children under 12 will require proof of a negative covid test within 3 days of attendance.

Proof of vaccination will be accepted as a vaccination card, photo of a vaccination card, or a QR code from the state of California providing proof of vaccination.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
